Description
Magnus Burlywick discovered flatwater paddle up foiling after someone told him he could never paddle a downwind foil board fast enough to fly. He treated the comment as a formal challenge and arrived at the lake with an oversized paddle, a stopwatch, and enough snacks for a small expedition. His first flatwater foiling attempts produced plenty of spray and noise, but very little lift. Each time the board rose, Magnus leaned back too far, stalled the foil, and returned to the water like a dropped refrigerator.
Eventually, Magnus learned that paddle up foiling required more than raw strength. He refined his paddle stroke, kept the hydrofoil paddle board running straight, and coordinated each compression with the foil beneath him. Instead of forcing the board upward, he built speed gradually and used controlled movements to create a clean flatwater foil start. His first successful flight came on stroke ninety-seven, when the board released from the surface and he transitioned directly into foil pumping.
Magnus now spends his sessions practicing stand up paddle foiling on calm lakes and sheltered bays. His signature move, the Burlywick Hundred, combines steady acceleration, efficient paddle technique, and a smooth transition from paddling to pumping. Beginners admire his persistence, experienced SUP foil riders respect his technique, and Magnus continues to prove that difficult does not mean impossible.
These Kiss-Cut Stickers can be cut in any shape you want, while also leaving a wide enough border around your design for smooth peeling. What’s more, there are no order minimums, so you can get a single sticker or a whole bunch—the world of stickers is your oyster. High opacity film that’s impossible to see through. Durable vinyl. 95µ thickness. Fast and easy bubble-free application. Blank product sourced from Japan.
Follow these tips when applying stickers: Apply the sticker to a clean, dust-free, oil-free, and moisture-free surface. After application, press the sticker down with a clean cloth to maximize the sticker’s ability to stick to the surface and avoid air bubbles. Make sure that the sticker is applied correctly the first time. With every reapplication, the sticker’s ability to stick will decrease. Apply the sticker to a flat surface only. If applied on items that bend, are round, or in a cylinder form, we can’t guarantee its ability to hold.
Disclaimer: Please note that the sticker paper is white and a transparent background isn’t possible. This product is made on demand. No minimums.
