Tiki Flippernick did not discover bodyboard foiling through a carefully planned progression into hydrofoil sports. He found it after repeatedly destroying or losing every pair of swim fins he owned. Blessed with unusually large feet, Tiki finally decided that his feet were already fins and began experimenting with a battered hydrofoil bodyboard. His first foil bodyboarding sessions included bouncing takeoffs, sideways rolls, and one memorable wipeout that left him wearing seaweed like a mustache.
As Tiki practiced, he learned that prone hydrofoiling rewards timing, balance, and subtle weight shifts more than wild effort. He used the speed of each wave to lift the bodyboard hydrofoil, then stayed low and centered while trimming across the face. Every brief glide helped him understand wave foiling a little better. Beginners related to his awkward starts, while experienced riders respected his patience and feel for efficient bodyboard foil riding.
Tiki now searches for clean reef and sandbar waves where he can combine the playful spirit of boogie board foiling with the smooth flight of prone foil surfing. His signature move, the Flipper Lift, begins with a fast prone entry followed by a controlled rise onto foil and a long glide across the wave. Tiki still falls, laughs, and occasionally collects more seaweed, but he believes every splash is simply part of learning how to fly.

Follow these tips when applying stickers: Apply the sticker to a clean, dust-free, oil-free, and moisture-free surface. After application, press the sticker down with a clean cloth to maximize the sticker’s ability to stick to the surface and avoid air bubbles. Make sure that the sticker is applied correctly the first time. With every reapplication, the sticker’s ability to stick will decrease. Apply the sticker to a flat surface only. If applied on items that bend, are round, or in a cylinder form, we can’t guarantee its ability to hold.
