Guinness World Records lists Ejnar Dyrr of the United States as the oldest person to ride a sit-down hydrofoil in the male category. He was verified in Huntsville, Utah, on 1 August 2023 at 94 years 225 days old.
Guinness also notes that Dyrr began learning the sport at age 88, became skilled at the Airchair, and enjoyed introducing people of all ages to the sport.
