You want the Nut Buster 3000 experience (we don’t know why), but you already have your own compatible handlebar from another more reasonable scoot pump. Maybe it’s your favorite scooter bar. Maybe it’s a franken-bar made from three different sports and late-night hardware store runs. Either way, you don’t need our handlebar parts or the skateboard package if you are looking here. You just need the core chassis and the plates that turn “a 1-inch aluminum bar” into a fully operational life-choice experiment.
What it is
The core Nut Buster platform for riders with their own handlebar setup
The Nut Buster Board-Only Kit includes the essential structural and mounting components:
- Main bar (the spine everything bolts to)
- Handlebar mounting plate (the interface for your handlebar clamp/connector plate)
- Mast mounting plate (attaches your foil mast to the bar)
- Foot plate (because you still need somewhere to put your feet until you are ready for full Nut Buster mode)
- Hardware kit (all the bolts that keep the whole experiment held together)
What it is not
Important: this is not the full “everything included” kit
- No custom skateboard deck, trucks, wheels, or grip tape.
- No handlebar assembly parts (because you’re bringing your own).
- No foil, mast, fuselage, or wings (you already knew that, but we have to say it).

Riders who already have a handlebar setup that can bolt up
This kit is for you if you have a handlebar clamp/connector plate with a bolt pattern that can mate to the Nut Buster mounting plate. If you’ve been riding a scoot pump setup and you’re already invested in your bar geometry, height, grips, and “this is perfect and nobody touch it,” then this is the cleanest way to Nut Buster without buying extra parts you don’t need.

The Nut Buster 3000 handlebar mounting plate is built to accommodate a variety of bolt patterns:
- Side A: Oval slots covering 85mm to 95mm
- Side B: Two fixed positions at 75mm and 90mm
Translation: there’s a good chance your existing scoot pump connector plate can bolt up without you needing to drill extra holes in the Nut Buster Handlebar Mounting Plate.
Optional upgrade path
Add the skateboard deck later if you want Stage 1 Deck Mode
This kit gives you the pure, compact Nut Buster platform: Foot Plate Mode out of the gate, with your own handlebar setup. If you later decide you want the wider “Skateboard Deck Mode” stance, you can add the Nut Buster Skateboard Kit as an optional add-on. Because sometimes you want a little more surface area between you and the consequences of a bad foot placement.
Practical notes
Performance, fit, and reality checks
- The Nut Buster platform is minimalist and metal. It will not make anything easier.
- Your handlebar setup must have a compatible bolt pattern or be adaptable to one. Measure twice. Regret once. Or drill extra holes.
- If you’re near the upper end of the recommended weight limit, understand that leverage is usually underestimated.

If you’re looking for “expedited,” you are in the wrong place
Around here, fulfillment runs on Notorious D.C. Time. When an order comes in, we’ve gotta check with D.C. to see when he can fabricate your part, and he’s usually armpit-deep in a car restoration when the message hits. If you want anodizing, that’s an extra adventure lining up a shop that’ll do a small job: the part is forged in his lair, shipped out for its shiny armor upgrade, and returns ready for action.
Translation: don’t be in a rush. Lead times can be weeks for a single part, and a complete kit can take a month or two, depending on the build queue and finishing steps. If you were under the impression that these are stamped out on a Chinese factory assembly line or that there are boxes of spare parts lying around, you would be sadly mistaken. The upside? You’re getting custom-made gear, not mass-produced mystery metal.

The Board-Only Kit is the “I already have parts, I just need the core platform” option. You get the main bar, the plates that matter, the foot plate, and the hardware and you bring your own handlebar setup. Add the skateboard kit later if you want the wider deck mode.
