The Monster-Sized Story
GKA’s Taiba coverage is unusually useful for the world-first database because it spells out the historical claim, the event context, and the progression within the heat. The report says Brodel was already landing kite loop board-offs in each heat, then in his semifinal against Maxime Chabloz he “wrote history” with the first contra-loop front-roll board-off and back-roll kiteloop board-offs on a hydrofoil in competition. It further says he landed both moves again in the final against Alex Soto. That combination makes the entry more substantial than a one-off social clip.
