How This Epic Thing Went Down
The final used two days of racing at Lake Garda. After winning the opening race, Escofet took two second-place finishes in the following day's 5 km downwind races. Those results gave him second at the event and enough championship points to become the first Downwind Parawing World Champion after the three-event season.
Rules of the Beast
Recognizes the first men's overall season world champion in an organized downwind parawing racing series. The title must be formally awarded from championship standings across the published series; winning the final event itself is not required.
How This Got the Nod
Named rider and explicit first-ever championship claim in the rider's team report, corroborated by the official SFT finale preview and championship structure.
