The Story Behind the Record

About five weeks after the original 35-crossing challenge post, Brian Grubb published a follow-up stating that with a few adjustments he had reached 39 in one minute under the same #savagefoilchallenge framing. That makes it a natural progression entry in the same record series: same rider, same public challenge format, higher count, and a source post that directly states the new number. The available public snippet does not publish a formal rule sheet beyond the one-minute crossing challenge.

Rules of the Beast

Tracks the largest publicly documented number of boat-wake-foil wake crossings completed inside one continuous 60-second attempt. The source challenge itself defines the benchmark as wake crossings in 60 seconds. A crossing should be countable from the public clip/post as a move from one side of the boat’s wake corridor to the other; the rider should remain on foil through the sequence, and the attempt should be presented as one uninterrupted minute. Record entries should preserve the source’s own count.

How This Got the Nod

Primary rider post states the new count and one-minute frame directly.

Video Proof From the Vault

Brian Grubb followed the original challenge with a higher one-minute benchmark, posting 39 wake crossings in one minute.
