He is obsessed with wake foil tricks: pops, wake foil airs, and the kind of wake foil flips that happen right after he asks for more speed, a shorter line, and “more vibes.” He actually knows the tech too, and will talk hydrofoil setup, balance points, angle of attack, and lift like a coach, right before grabbing the wake foil handle and doing the least scientific thing possible.
His signature is the Gremlin Invert: a hard pop, a committed upside-down moment, one hand on the handle, and a grin that says he planned it, even when he did not. He calls wipeouts “water hugs,” treats helmets as optional but stylish, and somehow gets better every time someone warns him about wake foil safety.
