The Nut Buster 3000 Recovery Kit is Foiling Freaks’ solution to the “feature” of the Nut Buster 3000 (i.e., it doesn’t float).
So when you inevitably go full yard sale, and the Nut Buster 3000 begins its descent into the deep, this kit helps you do the only sensible thing:

What’s in the kit
1) Pelican Dive Float (foam buoy + cord)
A bright, chunk of flotation with an attached cord. You clip/secure it to your board before you ride. When things go sideways, you deploy the float, let the board do what it was born to do (sink), and the buoy stays topside like a tiny flag that says:
“Yep. Right here. That’s where my dignity and expensive foil went down.”
2) Atomic Aquatics Scuba Mask (stylish photo-op ready black with red frame)
Because once your board has committed to the deep, you’ll want eyes on the situation. The mask is there for the moment you hover over the buoy and think, “Surely it didn’t sink THAT fast.”
Spoiler: it did.
How it “works”
- Attach the Pelican float cord to the Nut Buster 3000.
- Ride heroically.
- Crash spectacularly.
- Deploy float immediately.
- Seriously, don’t try to hold this thing up unless you have one or two full-size, approved life vests on.
- Watch the Nut Buster 3000 disappear beneath the surface while the buoy calmly remains above, doing its job.
- Return with a boat, paddleboard, friend with a jet ski, you get the idea.
- Retrieve the buoy and haul your Nut Buster 3000 back from the depths.
- Repeat.
Why do you “need” it
- Because searching for a sinking board by “vibes” is not a strategy.
- Because the ocean/lake doesn’t care how new your gear is.
- Because it’s better to have a recovery plan than hope and prayers.
Important note
This kit does not make the Nut Buster 3000 float. That would require better design choices. The Recovery Kit makes it findable after it does what it does: sink.
